Tonight’s one of those nights I feel sad about my life.
This view reminds me of a part in the book Hollow City: St. Paul’s Cathedral and the birds. (Photo taken from our hotel’s window here in Cebu City.)
Went Japanese yesterday. Looked like Japanese food but didn’t exactly taste/feel like one… especially the rice. Still, it was a nice treat!

On this trip I discovered one of my officemate’s skills: she takes good portraits! She can direct people’s poses and knows how to find good angles. Great! I told her we should be together on trips. Hahaha. :)
Some photos from our short trip to Bataan on July 3, 2014.
We went to see Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor) in Mt. Samat after our field work. It’s a gigantic cross on top of the mountain, and from there one could get a real good view of Bataan, Corregidor Island, and Manila. I was so excited about the overlooking but when we got there it unfortunately rained, so, no views but fog. Disappointing, yes, but my officemate’s presence made a difference. She took lots and lots of photos of me and us that it turned out a happy trip after all. I hope to go back to Bataan soon and visit this place again. By that time, I hope the sun is shining.
First time kong mag Quarter Pounder. Salamat kay boss at sa meeting. Pinalitan nila ang order ko!! Hahahaha! :D
